Nope, bigger is not always better, and its great to have both. I have a 1850cc Gold Wing and a 200 cc Q and a 750cc GS in between, although as you know I don't ride the GS. It's in hibernation for it's summer vacation.
I like the Q and the Wing similarly, just in different missions.

Though....I do wish my Lifanoid was street legal here for the daily commute I have on back roads to work. Not in the PRK, I'm afraid. :(

I've put about 300 km's on the KLR so far, and it actually seems to be running better than when I got it. I don't think the previous owner used it at all last year. I love the bike! Of the 300 km's I would say about 2/3 is highway and the rest is gravel roads. I bought a set of Alpinestars boots today when I was out cruising around and as usual bought too small . Lol, don't think I can take em back either so I hope they stretch a bit!
Only sad part to the whole thing is that I haven't touched the Konker since I got it... I might take it out tomorrow morning though. They are having a townwide garage sale and the Konker's low gearing would make it ideal for bopping around town checking the sales . |

Lol! It's not far from the truth though . I used the Konker for trolling the garage sales (didn't buy anything... Nothing caught my eye). The low gearing worked great for maneuvering around all the people and cars around town, but I'm not too sure how much use I will get from it now. Seems a waste, but do you think I could get around $2K for it including the enduro kit and a lifetime supply of oil filters?

The circle of life, Starts with 50cc...........Moves to 125cc.....Moves again to 250cc...........It never seems to end lol. It should be hard to outgrow the KAWI, You might just find a bike that You like that handles better or something. SHould be Your favorite for quite a while.

Well, looks like I have a buyer for the Konker. My brother in law is very interested in it. I'm keeping the JC Whitney top case though!
