New to bikes!
Been lurking on this site the past couple weeks doing research and today I pulled the trigger on a hawk 250 from power sports max. I am completely new to motorcycles in general I’ve never road one not even a dirt bike in my 30 years alive. I was reading the advice on the hawk 250 but any simplified basic tips on assembly, adjustments, or anything is greatly welcomed. I have always been around cars so I have mechanical knowledge just not with bikes!

Similar to you, just got a TemplarX from PSM. If you're used to turning wrenches then assembly shouldn't be a problem for you. I watched the video they put out mainly just to eye cable routings and part placements. Stock carb on mine working fine for now. Only mods I did right off was 50/50 tires for road use and some pannier racks/bags. I haven't done the valve adjustments yet, probably need to do that. I've got about 800mi on mine now.
