Templar X Chain Gaurd
My state requires a chain guard for motorcycle inspections. So I'm looking for opinions. I picked this one up for $28 I'm thinking 2 L brackets (painted black of course) and I should be good to go. Have any of you come up with anything different?

Looks like it will work fine. Which state requires a full chain guard?

Your idea sounds good to me. FWIW I've found the easiest way to fabricate brackets like those is 1" aluminum bar stock from any hardware store. I just bend them in a vice, cut, drill and paint.
