Battery PSA
Just a heads up when buying a battery:
Make sure the positive terminal is on the left like the OEM battery. The way the battery support bracket is angled could cause the positive terminal to make contact with the terminal Also, the positive cable doesn't have much play, so It's not ideal to stretch it all the way across the front of the battery to reach. Found this out after I ordered a battery from Amazon. Was just about to put the cover back on and since the battery was smaller than the original, it shifted to the left a bit and I saw how close the positive terminal got to that bracket. I think I dodged a bullet. |

you can make it work if you shim the battery and or wire tie it, but if you didn't buy it already, just get one that has the positive terminal on the left. Oh, and by the way, my original battery died within a week at just 150 miles. I have 215 miles so far and everything else is fine. |
