Getting it back together
Still hacking away at this thing.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/b_irVlKVj3s I built a straight pipe that plugs into the exhaust, bypassing the muffler, but it was just 1" steel conduit, and stole power. You can see where it ended up going lol. https://www.instagram.com/formulaforinsanity/reels/ This time around, I have a 2.5" fence post I dissolved the zinc galvanizing off with some liquid plumber, but I think I will get some vinegar and resoak it. A lot came off, but it looks funky like there's some left. It will be shooting exhaust away from me, but it's going to get hot and I don't want to dare breath in burned zinc! I will do the same as the first pipe but without bending it. Same paint scheme, cut to a slant then some shark gills sliced into it, a chain to lock it in, and I have some thermal wrap for the header and pipe I am stealing off my car's intake. Hopefully I haven't ticked off the cops or neighbors, but now that this sucker is nearly paid off, I am going to get a conversion title because you can make your 4 wheeler street legal in Ohio. I have turn signals, a speedometer with tach etc. I've considered putting a turbo on it, but I think even changing my piston, seals etc, it would destroy the engine. I'm confident I can get this thing to hit 60 with enough work put into it. |
