Fit Right amazon pocket bike.
Got this thing in yesterday afternoon, and put it together last night. I'll post pictures here later today.
I will say, so far, I'm not super happy about it, but it was cheap, so should have been expected. The brakes were set so tight, the front wheel was locked up, the rotor was covered in residue, and the front wheel was making weird noises. Pulled the front wheel, noticed the front tire was on backwards, aired it out, flipped the tire, noticed i didn't flip the angled valve, and it pointed directly at the rotor. Removed the tire again, flipped the tube, installed the tire, noticed the wheel bearings aren't in well enough. Couldn't find a good sized bolt to make a press, used the axle bolt as a slide hammer to fix the bearings, removed the rotor, stripped a rotor bolt allen hole, and used pliers to remove. Cleaned rotor, installed rotor and bolts with locktight. Adjusted brakes, adjusted brakes... adjusted brakes. Got annoyed because i still had brake noise, but the wheel spun more freely, but made squeaking noises. Tightened brake levers and throttle. Throttle kept sliding, left brake handle kept sliding. Jeez... Tightened more, kept sliding. Stupid cheap bicycle brakes. I had good levers to fix this, but gave them to my nephew. My hydro brake hoses are too long. Tightened more. Got the brake lever to not move under 6 year old hand strength, adjusted throttle so the right brake lever would keep it from spinning once max throttle was made. By this time, it's 11pm, and it's too late to gas and start up. Lets see how it does today. Pictures later. |

What you get? I know you're not talking about the KPM200.

It's literally labeled as "Fit Right 2020 Mini Gas Pocket Bike 01 On 40cc 4 Stroke, Support Up to 165 lbs, EPA Approved, Perfect Mini Pocket Bike for Kids" on amazon. lol
I get the KPM 200 today, actually. Had to change arrangements to get it dropped off, because a Semi can't really turn into my neighborhood, and they couldn't tell me if it was going to be a box truck or semi. |

Gassed it up and rode it today. It's fun, but I have to tighten the clip-ons. I think the kiddo will love it.

It's 4 stroke. It can get me going without having to push off. But, I can't use the pegs. Lol. I'm too tall.

Back in the day when I was playing with Chinese pockebikes I would completely disassemble them and rebuild before riding. Including the engine. I would find casting flashing floating around in the engine.
They are a ton of fun, I built one up that would rev to the moon after adding a boost port, porting the intake, exhaust, aftermarket tuned pipe, timing advance key, and reeds. Even with a bigger rear sprocket it would top out way higher speed than a stock one. We used to set up cones out in parking lots in the industrial area and have little mini GP races. Those were the days. You used to be able to bid on them on Ebay and pick them up really cheap. I would buy them and resell them to my friends still in the box for a little profit and get more people out racing.

Man, that sounds awesome!! I never really wanted one. I've already wanted them for my kids. The little one is excited about it.

Well, Thursday, the kiddo rode like a champ. Yesterday, he got road rash. My fault for putting him in nothing but a helmet.
Drag racing his friend, he lost control and high sided, hung head first over the handlebars until he went down in a driveway. So close to the grass. Left arm got skinned up pretty good. So, off to cycle gear today to get him an armored vest and gloves. |
