Anyone have trouble installing the end bar mirrors. I've tighten them as far as they go and still doesn't get tight inside the bar. Wondering if I'm doing something wrong.. seems pretty straight forward.

Yea man I did.... make sure that the aluminum thingies that are on the mirror used to keep them still and tight inside the handle bars are lined up exactly. So that way the flower out together. Sorry if I didn't explain the best I could. I tried, then you tighten the shit out of them.... I did and it wasn't easy but I did get it done.

What ever you do, DO NOT GO OVER 30MPH/50KPH TILL ENGINE IS COMPLETELY BROKEN IN! Around 250km you go over 30 but I wouldn't suggest going faster than 45 till you have gone 500 miles

Thanks for the advice! Guess I'll have to spend allot of time going down the back roads to try accumulate some miles.

Yea, it won't take long... most of my miles was practicing evasive maneuvers and stopping fast. Make sure on your first 100km change the oil, best to use 15w-40. Change agian after another 300km. Then after 2nd oil change going into 3rd oil change. After 3rd oil change your almost broken in completely. 3rd oil change will be close to 5 to 600km. After 3rd oil change you won't go to 4th oil change till 500km and so on. Well I personally change oil every 300 miles to 400 miles.. by around 1,200 to 1,300 miles your engine is completely broken in.

KS,
Not sure where you are getting all that info about breakin. Just ride the bike varying the speed a bit. You can run over 30 MPH, just don't ride like you stole it. Don't need to be changing the oil that much. I have had maybe 15 Chinese bikes over the years along with maybe another 45 other bikes. Never wore one out or broke the motor. Just follow the owner's manual. |

What are you talking about constant rear wheel alignment? Are you tightening the rear axle bolt properly? Are you missing these adjusters?

I have owned several Honda CG and CB bikes over the past 10 years and it’s not uncommon for the rear wheel alignment to need regular adjustments.

Look at the photos for the rear wheel mechanism. Should not go out of alignment. Last edited by Barnone; 05-17-2020 at 08:56 PM. |
