I've already looked at the list but I'm looking for real world experience on to if anyone had problems registering a hawk in nh. I'm hopefully gonna be getting one soon just want clarification.

Well, if all else fails, get a Bashan Enforcer. Pretty much the same bike but 49 state legal.

Yup, piece of cake. Registered my last year no issues at all. Town clerk entered the information from the MCO and added it into the system and stated "now it will be in the system in case anyone else needs to register one". I don't know if this was added to the state database or town only. If you need further information let me know and I'll take a look at my title and verify how it was entered. I now live in Candia but grew up in Claremont, maybe I'll see you on the road/trails one day!

NH registration
Across the river here in Vermont registration is a breeze. Probably because it is really about collecting money and tax than anything else. I have registrered everything from 10 ton Russian trucks to vehicle with a sequential VIN. ‘Sure we will take your 6% thanks’. I think your MCO/CO from the importer works as proof of title.
Only thing is insurance was a hassle for me, they kept saying the VIN wasn’t valid and didn’t list a Hawk at all (nor a Hyonsong sp?, RPS etc) Glad to hear there are some other ‘Chonda’ riders in the area. |
