I can tell you first hand that is not a suitable solution for someone with OCD. I built one once that turned into a career. It was a neat bike when I was done, but I probably took most of a year to build it.

My dad and his wife bought a similar one for one of her grand kids. First 10 minutes and the front wheel rods bent. Cheap metal tubing.

I don't know why they call it a CT200U-EX. It has nothing in common with the CT200U ,except the engine and wheels. |

I think the new EX means "Exhale" while the older CT was "Crack Trap". The fake gas tank is a safety feature. When I was a kid a friend of mine had an orange banana bike with a fake gas tank and he never slid off of the seat and into the crack trap.

I am laughing because I remember the fake gas tanks, but I never knew they served a functional purpose

The bike was ahead of its time and misunderstood. I have a picture and it will show the power of the fake tank combined with the short throw cranks. I don't even want to talk about brake slides with the coaster brake on that bike...

I stopped in at a Kmart and a Sam's Club looking for the Colemans. They were gone. I saw a little 80cc mini but it was tiny and I don't remember the name.

Is that a real song or my life story? I think it needs more cow bell bottoms, knee high tube socks, tiny shorts and a splash of polyester shirts. I almost forgot the banana comb in the back pocket.

Those shoes sure look a lot like the K-Mart suede Trax tennis shoes. 8 bucks brand new in 1975 as I recall...a kings ransom !

We are getting way off topic but it's fun. My friend was born in March 1968 and I was born in November 1967. I know that the picture is from after 1975 but he had three older brothers and one younger brother and explains the shoes. I didn't get hand me downs because I have five older sisters.
