Mine were similar but smaller. A 3/8" drill bit did wonders to the side screening.

carb dialed in
so i took the advise from here and got myself a mikuni or at least a knock-off.
The carb is dialed in and works great, no coughing or sputtering. only 300 miles on it right now so still some break in but it's running much better. things to work on: Fork oil change. there is a tiny fraction of play in the neck . I need to figure that out. I still don't like the side to side play of the front sprocket; although everyone says it's fine. Thanks to all who are so helpful and providing links to parts/technical threads and videos. |
