Colombia Llanos (Eastern Plains)
Finally got chance to do a little riding this morning. The plan was to leave the house early but a light drizzle put a stop to that so headed to the hammock to catch up on the China Riders forum posts. After lurking for an hour or so the weather looked good and I hit the road. Headed for a scenic overlook that I had only been to by car in the past. Its a nice spot to take in the views of the eastern plains of Colombia. I had never been past the main overlook spot which conveniently is a restaurant. Not far past the restaurant the road is pretty washed out and I didnt go any farther today.

Restrepo is a small town about 3 or 4 hours outside of Bogota on the edge of the Andes.

Thanks for posting the great photos, Mike. Colombia certainly is a beautiful country.

Very cool pics! Apparently, you're not allowed to play the trumpet in front of that church.
