lower ball joints

My lower ball joint seperated on a 110cc chinook ATV. can they be cut out ad a new one welded in? Otherwise I assume you have to replace the entire A-arm. Where can these be bought cheap

the ball joint and the 2 little solid arms are all one piece and then welded into the tubing of the a-arms

I've seen them like that, and I shuddered at the thought of replacement.

I'd search on eBay first, to see if a complete arm is available at a decent price; definitely the easiest route. If not, I'd buy a similar ball joint that has the same dimensions and weld in a plate to accept it. If that's the route you go, make sure to buy a bolt-in joint.
