Headlight
I just purchased Baja Designs Enduro Lighting Kit Option 1
http://www.motosport.com/CA/dirtbike...g-Kit-Option-1 I own a LF200GY-2, with the wiring setup I'm very confused about hooking it up. Could I get some tips from someone to help me guide through this process. I was reading the http://www.motosport.com/CA/dirtbike...g-Kit-Option-2 They are saying that I may have to have a new stator, aftermarket or get my stator re-wound etc. Will I have to do this with my bike, or will I have enough power to run the light. I know that that headlight is for a Honda bike, if anyone has this light hooked up on there Lifan bike, could you please help me figure out how to wire it properly. Thank you so much. Im very confused and I don't really want to send it in to a shop to get it done, they cost 90$ an hour.. Hopefully its easy to wire it. I was reading the manual they sent me, and they have a fuse 15AMP in there aswell, Im not sure what my bike has, but I believe there is a fuse next to the battery area. Would I have to replace that fuse with the 15AMP they gave me. Please help, much appreciated. Kevin |

You don't need to rewind your stator. Your current stator should produce enough electricity to power your new headlight.
Do you have a wiring diagram for your motorcycle? If so, please post it. The headlight employs three wires, and these three wires usually have the following colors. Dark Blue: High Beam White: Low Beam Green: Ground

The switch that you bought on eBay might make things easy for you. When you receive the switch and the headlight, please let us know.

I just got the Baja light in!
It comes with the wiring system, switch for the headlight etc. It also has the connectors I can take a pic of them soon to show you. It also has a 15 amp thingy connected to the wire.
What info do you need to help me try to install this properly, confused about if I need to hook it up too the wires in front of my bike or since I have the wiring kit, then all I need to do it wiring straight to the battery? or do I wire it too the other battery area that has the red and black wires.. kinda confusing.. Let me know if you need any info, Im taking my time and getting as much info as possible before I start. Also the only color that Baja sent me was red, and Im thinking of painting this Baja headlight case first.. The Fusion paint is good? Thanks Guys |

Please post a photograph of the wiring harness. If the wiring harness is constructed properly, you can probably hook the the harness directly to the battery.
Yes, Krylon Fusion is excellent spray pain for plastic. http://www.krylon.com/products/fusion-for-plastic/
