Just bought a Tao Tao 125 No owners Manual
Does anyone know where I can find an owners manual for a Tao Tao 125? Just bought a used one, but they didn't provide a manual.
Thanks |

Welcome! Even if they had provided a manual, it would be of very little use to you. Feel free to ask any questions about your new machine, and we'll do our best to help.

Owner's manual. ROFLMAO
Son that's a chinese quad, you think they make a manual and even if they did it would read like this: 1)Key start you in put ignition, brake while you hold lever in. 2) Line gas knob should on be the in position. you get the drift. LOL best to ask anything you need from all the wonderful members here and they can help you get through any issue you have. Tehy are some smart quad owners here and helped me out tons when I got my first two chinese quads.

That sounds about how most of the manuals read.
Better to just ask any questions here. This is the best manual you will get.

Forward/Drive doesn't want to work but reverse does
I have a 125cc TaoTao and when you try and go forward it acts as though it doesn't have power to do so, however, it does drive if there is no weight on the machine. Reverse works fine. What could be the possibilities for this issue? It has hardly even been ridden.....Is this the clutch?

I ran into this same problem last week. We had a spring like day and I took out my Hawk. I tried getting the Tao Tao 125 going and it wouldn't go forward with any weight on it. Reverse worked, but it didn't have the same power it had when i parked it before winter. Reverse has always worked better than going forward on this atv. I can ride up pretty steep slopes in reverse that i would need a running start for going forward.

125cc hellcat 2015...
Does anyone know the specs for Their r/r, 5Pin Tbolt red DC CDI, and the Stator that has one yellow one white(both are yellow essentially)? it has electric start. No kick. FYI::: Kill switch is good when on/off. Has been eliminated as the problem for it not SPARKING.. (the bike does crank over, starter is working fine; the timing is correct as are the Valves; compression is solid cuz it sucks air, and the carb is new, reset, and I did Take fuel Out of tank. tried with starting fluid originally to get bike to start up—- failed to spark. So.. rectifier doesn’t have a part in spark. So that’s out the equation... Have used 3 stator, two of which have oddly enough a FEMALE, not male connector for 5 pin..one came on with Previous Owner, had been a two yellow wire stator. |
