increase power on Lifan LF200gy-6

I was wondering if there was a way to make some adjustments to increase the power. I find there is not enough power to bring the front tire up. There seems to be plenty of power while riding but if I am in first gear and crack the throttle to try to pop it up it just revs up and I have to shift to quickly. The wheel does not leave the ground. Maybe I am expecting too much after owning an RM125 in my younger days. I also have a 1982 cb650sc Nighthawk in great shape if anyone is interested. Asking $2500
