I was very sorry to read about this incident. If there is one bright side; nothing seems to be radically permanent, i.e. paralysis or death, but you still suffered some serious enough injuries. Yes, the lesson for all of us is to try to remain alert enough for whatever might get in front of us. I have had dogs try to chase me, and the old, pull on the gas and leave them in the "dust" works best. However, the danger is not always presenting itself from the side, but the front, too. The amount of coyote and dog carcassas that I pass by almost daily in my car, now combined with your unfortunate accident, reminds me of the extreme danger that is out there for the 2-wheeler. Recover as fast as you can, but don't eat too much of your product. It tastes good, but you'll just get fat!! Simon
