flushmount turn signals

Anyone out there install a set of flushmount signal lights? I am thinking I would like to make my own or buy a set or something. One of the rear ones is broken after an offroad adventure (just a note the tusk bark busters do an excellent job of busting rock as well).

I am thinking some cab mount lights might work? I want cheap and something that won't break next time I fall because I will fall. It is just the way I ride!
