Suspension Repair Question

Hey everyone,

I recently noticed my car's ride has been rougher than usual, and there's a knocking sound when going over bumps. After inspecting the suspension, I suspect the struts or control arm bushings might be the culprit.

Has anyone dealt with a similar issue? If so, how did you confirm the exact problem? I'm debating whether to replace the components myself or take it to a shop.

Any advice on diagnosing and repairing suspension issues would be much appreciated!

Also, are there specific tools or parts you’d recommend for a DIY repair?
