Venom Motorsports - my mixed experience thus far

DF125RTS, 125cc, Venom X22.

Order placed August 5th in the morning.
Order received to Alabama on August 16th afternoon (Friday).

Shipping packaging was great. The metal cage that it comes in is a huge plus. It passed bill of landing inspection.

Issue 1: The top most inner spot on the faring is cracked on each side. Black paint, with white plastic inside makes the crack stand out. This was not a shipping issue. This is an assembly issue as this area is under foam wrap that was not damaged at all.
EDIT: A new replacement fairing 9/10/2024. awesome service! You have to stick with them and play the game of 10 emails to get one part, but all's well that ends well.

various technical issues: most prominent being that the motorcycle will cut off while riding at random. more on that fix and others in this link here: https://www.chinariders.net/showthre...467#post411467

Issue 3: I ordered the carbon fiber (fake) exhaust thinking it was a kit meant specifically for this bike to reduce the risk of fitment from a generic muffler. $100. It looks as if it is the same muffler you can get on Amazon for $35. I returned their exhaust and got the Amazon special. It's the same thing. Note: if you get this fake carbon fiber exhaust, remove the baffle and then remove the circle cap in the middle of that baffle. It restricts too much flow and creates a lot of heat in the exhaust which his why people post videos of them with the paint baked off.

I have removed the day by day summary as it's not important now.

In summary, I have had a good experience with Venom Motorsports. I have received no technical support from them though. but you have to expect that with these Chinese bikes. They are not for noobs with little patience.

I just hope I get the 5k RPM engine noise to get resolved. that ones scars me the most.
