Hi everyone, my name is Chad. I learned about the forum from a YouTube video. I've been really interested in buying a motorcycle and honestly decided to get a Venom 125cc bobber to learn to work on, and maybe turn into a Café racer when I finally know what I'm doing.

I'm currently saving up for that and trying to educate myself in the mean time so I'm really excited to be here and learn from you folks. The reason I'm going through this route for a bike is because I hated the idea that I couldn't just order a bike from any of the major brands directly to my house, and then dealer markups made everything so expensive that even a grom was out of my price range.

I'm entirely new to riding and have no real experience working on engines other than basic car oil changes. But I've always been pretty envious of people who can just take apart and put back together like it's as simple as breathing.

If anyone knows anything about the motorcycle I'm planning to buy, please let me know, otherwise great to meet you all!
