Grin I found a direct bolt-on exhaust system for my Lifan X-Pect!!!

There were two modifications to the exhaust that needed to be made, but no modifications to the X-Pect or it's exhaust mounts were needed. The sides of the exhaust flange have to be opened with a cutting disc since the Lifan's bolt pattern is a little wider though that's easy enough. Also, you can re-use all the factory exhaust bolts at all the factory attachment points. However, a small 1/8th-1/16th strip of steel you can mark for a set of a set of bolts is the only other thing you need. A slight twist to it will keep the mount tucked under the X-Pect's body panels comfortably. It sounds great and works beautifully!!!

As a side note, there wasn't an exhaust gasket on the factory manifold. I already did the valve adjustment, but there was a slight bit of pre-ignition noise. As it turns out it was an exhaust leak interfering with the oxygen sensor's readings. I used a 2000 degree exhaust seal paste to seal around the header and it stopped the pre-ignition sounds in the valvetrain cover completely. If anyone else still has any pre-ignition issues, which will almost sound lick a light ticking from the combustion chamber. Seal the header with some of this exhaust sealer, it can also be sanded and painted as well.
