Hey all! "Some call me Tim" I purchased two 2008 LF 200-GY5's from Brian Mays at
http://motoxtreme.net/ back in the first week of March 2008. (See my picture 3rd down in the middle of his website). I have been silently monitoring this forum ever since getting information and laughs from some interesting posters. I am a middle aged full time schoolboy (schoolman?) at New Mexico State University so my priorities are all screwed up and didnt get to enjoy the bikes until the start of the summer here (350 days avg. of sunshine is always summer) but first things first. Now that I have actually been putting some miles on the bikes and now I have decided to make myself known and let the community know that I have yet to be "shot at" or "run down" by the locals who are a little more conservative with purchasing anything but "ford's" or "Chevy's". I hope it continues that way! We are located in Las Cruces, NM about 40miles from Juarez Mexico and have hundreds and hundreds of miles of open territory to ride in the deserts, forest and county roads. From time to time I will keep you all posted on the reliability of these "affordable" bikes in this climate. For now, they are holding up Excellent! if not for me dumping them on the ground from time to time. Last thing I want to say is that I
highly recommend Brian Mays and his MotoXtreme. He has been one of the most professional and courteous business-men I have dealt with in a long time. Best wishes to all my fellow GY-5 owners!!! Have a great summer and ride safe. Tim
