Regulator / rectifier
Soooooo, I was fine tuning my pz30 pumper carb when my wideband meter started acting up. I assumed maybe my o2 sensor had went to the dark side so I replaced it. Went to use it yesterday and the same thing. Itd test and calibrate ok but quit when the bike was running.
So I grab my voltage meter an voila, theres a problem. About 15 volts at idle and 15.8 at about 2000rpm. Way more than the 14.5 ish I was expecting. The bike is only 6 months old and about 1000 miles on it. I wasnt expecting it to fail so soon, is this common? I ordered a replacement from Csc and a cheap10.00 one from ebay as a back up.
