Modded the exhaust finally.
I bought a used honda CRF150/230 aluminum silencer on ebay. $30 shipped. Requires some modifications and is not a direct fit. I cut the stock muffler off where it flares out to the exhaust pipe and then needed to slobber a spacer onto the stock pipe so that the crf pipe would fit tightly over it and clamp on. The muffler bolted on to the stock frame mount. It is louder than the stocker and doesn't have a spark arrester. I think I will keep my eye out for a quiet insert/spark arrester for the honda muffler. I have noticed an increase in power though. I also removed the airbox lid and cleaned the stock filter. A new UNI pod is the next mod. It is alittle lean so I think I will need to increase the main jet size. The best part is it now sounds like a much larger bike. Highway speed the noise is about the same. Allen
