KeiHin PZ26 Jetting Question
Hi all,
I have a KP Mini 150, and just installed a PZ26 carburetor and a pod filter in place of the stock setup. The bike is idling great, good at lower rpms, but when I get into the higher rpm range (> 5000), the bike is sputtering a bit. I'm guessing this may be due to needing to increase the size of the main jet, but not sure. Newer to adjusting and tuning carbs. I've got the needle jet on the fourth ring down of five (stock was 3). And my fuel mixture is at 2.5 turns out. This made for a little less sputter, but still falling a little flat when in the higher range. Hoping to get some direction on this as I'd rather not go back to the stock carb as it has no adjustments at all and may be getting the KP Moto exhaust as well. Thanks for the help! -- Jared |
