Attention Tbr7 owners (and possibly others)

Today, while doing an inspection of the bike I noticed a little rust that caught my eye down at the swing arm pivot bolt. Upon closer inspection I noticed that the welds that hold the bushing for said pivot bolt had broke loose, on both sides of the bike! The only welds they had were two very small welds on the inside of the bracket they are attached to.
So as a service bulletin for my fellow China bike riders. Take a minute and check those welds! It only took me about 45 minutes to an hour to strip it down to get a good weld on both the inside and outside of the bushing, and reassemble.
I certainly don’t jump the bike, but I do push the limits on rough terrain. I wasn’t surprised by The broken welds considering the welds were smaller than a popcorn kernel, and the abuse it’s been given.

So do yourself a favor and grab that back tire and give it a good shake while watching that pivot bolt.
