help/advice needed Hawk Swing arm Zerk fitting

HI,

So next dumb question! I have drilled, taped and fitted a zerk to the steering neck tube, so hooray for my team. The issue I am having is that for the swing arm do I drill through the frame and then the metal tube inside that or is the grease suppose to go between the frame and tube (bushing)? I have removed the swing arm completely as I thought it might be the bolt I could see, but its not. So can someone confirm that I should keep drilling through the tube/bushing, as I assume the grease is to stop the bolt welding itself to the bushing, especially up here in the north.

Thanks in advance
