Increasing oil level
Okay I need help figuring this one out... I think the obvious answer is blow-by but still...
Bashan 250 engine has 60 miles on it. I changed the oil morning just before the ride, intentionally leaving the oil level on the "L" low side, filling up less maybe 7/8 of a quart. After riding for an hour, immediately checking the oil level it was in the middle of "L" & "H". Okay not too bad. 1 week later I checked the oil level, and it's now above "High"... so ... Is fuel somehow getting into the crankcase? I left the fuelcock in the off position. Gas was fresh there shouldn't be water in it, and we don't have much humidity here... Is it normal to have a new engine to have that much of a blow by? Everything is stock on this bike... I would think if fuel got into oil they would combust and burn off...
