The sensor is housed in a cast piece of aluminum so its width on the axle will never change no matter what the internals are doing.

I'll have a better look at the breaks when I get home. I don't believe the caliber is floating. Does it have to float or else only one side of the rotor would be pressed on right? CSC recommends removing the caliber to remove the axle but I left mine in place. I only took it off after I started having issues.
