New TT 250 not idling on its on!!

Ok so my brand new bike was barely idling like the tach needle was at one or two notices above the zero. Lol.. but I turned up the idle screw till it was just under the 2 on the tach .. now seems to be better.. I'm really new obviously but any advice or experience would help.. my bike only has 33 miles and I think messing with the idle speed screw .. turning it up corrected the problem
