My 250 Apollo RX mods
Hi All,
I purchase this bike from David (Mudintent) with the following mods. * Removed Catalytic Converter * Mikuni Clone 30mm Carb (original non-adjustable included) * Added 12T front Sprocket (original 14T Included) * Custom blue 48T rear Sprocket from PMP sprockets (original 38T included) * Installed Gold O-ring 530 pitch chain * Removed EPA crap i.e SAIS (kept if you really want) * Installed two Amazon special 72watt light bars (extremely bright) I spent a bit of time lurking on the board and gaining knowledge about this bike. I have owned three and four wheelers but never a dirt bike. This is a great community and I have learned a lot. Since I have started on my own mods.
I've been pretty busy lately so I have not ridden it since the install of the shock and new filter. Just sitting on it though I can tell it is a night and day difference over the stock kidney killer shock! One question regarding the starter, it seems very weak and can barely turn the motor without attempting several tries. It has 10 gauge wire. The battery helped some but it still seems really poor. Any thoughts as to what it could be or how I could improve it? On to the pictures! |
