Shipping has been the main issue for most of these resellers. That's probably because they try to find the cheapest way to ship in order to be competitive. The better resellers will find the best and safest way to ship at an additional cost to keep a good reputation.

Congrats on the V star 250.

I owned a 89 Route 66 which was the original V star 250. The only thing that has changed is the Price. I paid $2400 for mine when I bought it new. I sold it back to one of the mechanic at that shop 9 or 10 years later for $2800. You made a good purchase. That bike served me well for many years without a single issue. I think I still have a few oil filters in my shed I would be glad to send you.
