new member, hawk 250 will be delivered Monday

i am so excited as i took the day off to accept the delivery of the hawk 250(crate)black. purchased from txps and ups is delivering it , this monday 2/5/2018, and ups called me to reschedule bc semi could fit on my street(extra 4 days of wait), so a box truck will deliver it. i also have ordered the much talked about "needed" mods.

-mikuni vm26 carb
-Wingsmoto Mikuni jet kit(plan on using 120)
- JT Sprockets JTR269.45 45T
-JT Sprockets JTF259.17 17T
-NGK (2202) DPR8EIX-9 Iridium
-JT Drive Chains 428 x 130 Links HDR
-aftermarket muffler system(the one most get)
-3 1/4" burrito tube

i have a motorcycle jack to assemble and mod this thing before 1st start.
is there any reason i shouldn't do these mods before 1st start?

i have been riding for over 30 yrs and working on them here and there, so i feel confident i can handle this hawk 250 assembly and modding it correctly.

i havent worked on a carb though. re-jetting it will be a learning curve for me. some say back out mixture 1 click. wth does that mean? once click out from closed or 1 click out from how it arrives from factory?

anyways, thanks for viewing this, and hopefully i make some new friends here. i will post anything i think hasn't been noted before me on this journey.
