Hawk Plastic Pieces

Does anyone know if the plastic parts on the Hawk are UV treated? Or are they going to look like an old milk jug sitting in the sun? Faded and brittle?

I know some people have painted their Hawks, but how well does the paint stay on? What brand is best to use?

On the new Kawasaki Klr, it has a digital camo paint job. Since my Hawk is named the Kitty Hawk, I thought about a wrap in Navy digital camp.

If it is UV protected, I was going to add some reflective stripes. Gotta b visible and keep the crazies from running me over (in Navy terms that would Scuttling the Hawk)!
