Thanks!
Okay, so since I got it, I've thought the choke when UP: off MIDDLE: half and DOWN: full choke. Apparently it's the other way. Is that correct? That means that my bike will cold start with the choke off, run with the choke off and after half throttle, it will not bog down I believe. I'll have to take it for another ride tomorrow to verify this. This is the way it sould function, correct? Previously I was thinking that it would start and idle with the choke on, die at half or choke off. So I thought it was bogging down after half throttle with the choke on. If what I'm thinking is correct, since I had the choke reversed in my mind, my bike is running normally. Again, I'll have to test it out tomorrow to be sure. Didn't have a chance to ride it after I figured out I had backwards I know my way around engines, carbs, etc... better than is this post is letting on. I'm tired and just want someone who knows 100% what they're talking about to verify this lol. So if the bike starts cold, idles, and doesn't bog throughout the rpm range with the choke off (all the way down), then it is functioning normally? |
