Anyone else had problems trunks falling off?

had problems WITH* trunks falling off

I recently took a trip up north to St Germain, and while I was up there I did quite a bit of trail riding.

I managed to do a few things...

-I found my stem nut may be too loose? I feel the front column shift under braking.
-Sheared my rear sprocket bolts
-My garage pro travel trunk decided to depart from the bike.

Luckily the trunk wasnt too far before I realized it had broken off. One of the mounting pegs let go, and bent the plate enough to allow the trunk to fall off.

Any better trunk mounting solutions?
Or are you not supposed to jump your bike with a trunk attached?
