82 mpg!!!
So here a few weeks ago I swapped out the front sprocket on my
CRF230L from a 13T front sprocket to a 15T front sprocket. Made a huge difference. More " treatable " as they say. What I did NOT expect was the 10+ MPG gain in fuel economy. I run the numbers 3 times. 78 miles driven, 0.95 gal put back in. that was full to the bottom rim of the filler neck. Exact same place I always stop it at. Even if I could have squeezed that last 0.05 gal in there, that still would have been 78 MPG, still way up from what it had been prior to sprocket change!
