Lowering
The narrow seat didn't bring me any closer to the ground.
The advertised seat height of the RX3 is 31.3 inches. The seat on mine measures 32". The narrow seat is no better. So it's time to get back on the ground again... Thanks to rjmorel for his lowering link post and the CSC tutorial. http://www.chinariders.net/showthread.php?t=15514 I purchased the link with the bearings already installed, a great help. They must use a impact wrench when tightening the bolts on the link. Loosening the nuts was one of the hardest parts. The other hard part was trying to get back up off the ground... I still can't get my feet completely flat on the ground. I have to slightly lean to one side or the other. Next is to raise the forks up a bit. Also, I think the preload is not set right. Only 3/4" rider sag with all my gear on. But that will have to wait until I do the valve check...when the bike is already apart. jb
