Supplemental Lighting the easy way.
So I have been trying to get my headlight worked out for driving at night. Adjustment point had been broken by PO, and I could never get the headlight to not glare off the fender. Long story short, painted fender and still had glare issues so fender is gone till I figure out a hugger style fender for my Shineray XY250gy-2 (Qlink MT250 Motard).
I found this LED light on Amazon for a more than reasonable price! LED Light Here it is installed. ![]() I re-purposed the front reflector to be able to hold the headlight at the correct angle after I removed the fender. Made for a perfect mount for the LED light. Drilled a hole in the mount for the LED light and picked up a shorter bolt to work in the tight space I was trying to install in. Cheap <$5 illuminated switch from pep boys worked perfect to zip tie to the bar risers till I work out a permanent home for it. ![]() Here are pics of the reg light and bright light at about 15' at dusk. Low beam ![]() High Beams ![]() LED only ![]() Low and LED ![]() High and LED LED ![]() I will try to get a pic of the lights in after dark and not at such a close range tonight. |
