Lifan lf200 gy5 clutch issue

I am replacing the plates and springs on my 2006 lifan lf200 gy5 and cannot seem to get the clutch off because the centrifugal filter, I believe that's what it is, is in the way? Does anyone have a solution for this??

I cannot get the clutch out to switch the plates because of the circle on the right
