GW owners tend to be much older, more experienced, and conservative in their riding style than most other motorcycle owners. Therefor a high performance motorcycle is not a priority.

Many Gold Wing riders have ridden hundreds of thousands of miles, and speed and performance are not the highest priority.

Also for a Gold Wing owner the 700 makes a good additional bike as it is comfortable, reliable, and easy on the aging bones :wink: .
