Took the Mrs. Shopping....

...for a motorcycle helmet. We looked at some Raiders at Cabelas and Gander Mountain last weekend and she hated them. I found it odd because I have a full face Raider and I'm pretty happy with it.

Today, after pulling out of Costco, I decided to stop at Flat Squirrel Scooters www.flatsquirrelscooters.com and check out their selection. Wow. Nice stuff. The sales guy was really helpful and Mrs. Cheesy settled on a Scorpion half helmet. After paying for the helmet, while being followed by Harley the shop dog, we checked out their bikes. Mrs. Cheesy now thinks she might like a scooter for herself. She's kind of liking the 2011 CFMoto V5 they have on the floor, the Kymco Sento 50, and the Genuine Scooters Buddy International 50.

I've been trying to talk her into a scooter for the last 23 years because her daily commute is less than seven miles round trip. Today was the most headway I've ever made in convincing her. Ain't there yet, but getting close.
