High mountain trail ride Washington and Oregon

Roger, Andy, Tony and I rode the South Fork of the Walla Walla River in the Umatilla National Forest last weekend. A nice 70 mile day ride with good friends. An added benefit was sunny skies and about 80 degrees, versus the 100+ degrees down in the desert where I live.

Taking in the view.

Andy next to The Beast.

Andy, Roger, and Tony.

Andy rode his KLX250, Roger the KX450 (NOT an ideal trailbike... 8O ), Tony was on his D/S KDX220, and I was on The Beast.

In flight refuling on The Beast. I was happy to see it returned about 35 MPG on this ride. Not bad!

Typical beautiful mountain trail. The light and shadows made 'reading' the trail a little tricky.

Don't worry Tony, we are not lost.

Andy wears his helmet to the bathroom. A guy can never be too safe I guess.
