Zongshen 200GY-2: 50,000 Miles Recorded

On July 4, 2012, my Zong reached 50,000 miles on the odometer. Here are some photos from that day's ride.

I love the TW200 engine in my Zong. I especially love the wide-ratio transmission with a "grandpa" first gear. I recently geared down my Zong to a 14T/58T sprocket combination, and I am impressed how well the bike pulls me up steep, loose, technical inclines. With my 18-inch rear wheel, I believe my current sprocket combination approximates a 14T/55T sprocket combination on the TW200.

The sun was setting as I descended the mountain.

I returned to pavement before nightfall. However, I stopped to record 50,000 miles on the odometer in the dark, as I was riding home.
