A ride report of sorts. American made product :-)
Wichita, Kansas to be exact. The plane belongs to my friend, Cheri. She is an excellent pilot, but just a beginner. 200 hours. Yesterday I took her up for some mountain flying instruction. Her brother Monty joined us. Great people those two.
We flew to Joseph, Oregon, in the Wallowa Mountains. We had some snow there, so we went to Enterprise, OR, so as to not get stuck. FastDoc and his lovely student. She flies as good as she looks. Taxiing for takeoff in Enterprise, OR. Low-ish weather but a great view of the snowy mountains. Cheri and Monty with the courtesy car at the airport. Many small airports keep a vehicle on hand for pilots to use when visiting. This was a neat old F350 with 327,000 miles on the clock. Cheri's pretty 1964 Cessna Skyhawk. His name is Alfie! Short final into Joseph. A little below glideslope but not bad.
