Upgrade questions - Suspension / Brakes

Hey Everyone,

I'd like to upgrade the shocks on my taotao ata250d to something better. Something softer. The shocks on there now feel like they are all spring with no dampening... Anyone know a good place they sell shocks that I may be able to find ones to fit?

Also, the front Drum brakes on it barely work. I'd like to upgrade to disk brakes but haven't been able to find anyone selling the parts for this. Are drum brakes usually that bad? Should I just be looking to tighten the cable somehow?
