kazuma falcon 150 drivability problem and not charging battery

i aquired this atv cheap and after cleaning the carb, adjusting the valves and fixing the drive clutch got it running and riding good, now onto the electrical, its not charging the battery im wondering how i would test the voltage regulator, its got 4 wires i get 12v b+ on one and a/c voltage on some, im getting some a/c voltage from 2 wires coming from the stator, but no 14v at battery let me know thanks!
