I still don't know.
No more power and more money than a KLX250. I won't bite.

Remember, that's Canadian dollars. The KLX250S retails for $6,299 up here - a significant difference.

I'm hoping to run one of these for a bit this summer, but it won't be a long-term test bike, as far as I can tell.
Saga is also working on importing a 250 sportbike as well, as we reported last winter. |

They had them at the bike show, prices range from about $3200 to $3800ish (show prices).

Yeah it varied by model, seems not to bad, since the Qlink/Qingqi/Konker 200's are or at least were around $3K.

I really hadn't kept in touch with MSRPs lately. I was pretty shocked to see how high the Japanese prices had gotten, even for lowly models like the TW200. I'd definately be looking at a Konker or something similar if I was buying a new machine again.

Thanks for the update. Before I bought this DR650 a couple years ago, I was wishing that the Chinese would build a bike between 300-400cc to replace my then ageing DR350. If I didn't have the DR650, I'd be seriously looking at those bikes.

I stopped by Saga today and was impressed with how well stocked (and organized) their warehouse was. I believe the bikes are also properly imported with the transport Canada approval so they really are street legal. If I was in the market I think I'd be going back and forth between the Saga 400 and a Konker.

That would be a tough choice. The 400 has a lot more power but the Konker/Q has the track record and parts availability and reliability but much less performance.
