1000 Mile marathon Drive to get My z50 Replica!
Yesterday I Set off at 4am to drive from St Louis Mo to Witchita Ks.
7 hour drive there 7 hour drive back ...   I arrived a little after 11. The Guy is a Dealer for Hooper Imports. He even took the time to work on the American Lifan I Have now for free! Hell I cannot even get my dealer to get me the correct MSO! Anyway, he had this 2004 70cc Hooper Imports Pitbull that he kept for himself and never titled. It has 100 miles on it and this is exactly the state I got it in the pic below.. Its pretty damn cool and with the 70cc it will run about 40 mph with my fat butt on it. His 26 year old son was there and we all went riding for a little bit all on ct70 clones!. It was great! After the deal I took off and made it home at about 12am sunday.. |

Sorry, was having a blond moment. I understand now. Sheesh, I thought I had 2 or 3 brain cells left. Guess I'm on my last one. This beer will take care of that!

Damn you guys are weird! I like ya!
LOL!!! I Rented a little truck and put my UNLISANSABLE American Lifan in the bed to have a GREY Market dealer fix a wiring issue while I was there. Im not brave enough to ride it that far Plus......Its un licenseable The Pitbull is of course...... licenseable! This little bike rocks! Its holds a steady 40mph and it has a bit more in it. It has no problem keeping up with traffic on surface streets I already have a xr75 swingarm going on it to give it a little more wheelbase. My 110cc lifan Engine is going to look nice in this little creep! |

So, you already plan to part out the CT-70? If you didn't live so far, I would be interested in buying the chassis from you--Arizona is fairly easy to license most anything that has all its street equipment. The title would just have to be bonded here to prove to the (wonderfully smart, not-backwards minds of the )state of AZ that no one else can claim ownership of a certain vehicle. At least in these cases, the lowered IQ mentality works in the citizens' favor! I would still consider the frame by itself as I can imagine that you could use most of the bike. Let me know if these are your plans, and I will see if it's even worth it at my end to attempt to piece together a bike versus buying one. |

I have not reached that point with the American Lifan Bike.
If I do have to swap frames I will keep everything else and put the other up for sale. I'm still waiting to see if Shawn can get anywhere with this Guy.... It doesn't look promising.. |
