Huge Airships coming soon!
Is it a jet or a Cruise ship? The answer might be both and it would use less energy that either Cruise Ship or Airlines jets! Aticle link

I'm thinking hoax, hype, or photoshop, or all the above, for did anyone notice the size of the port-holes in the airship, compared to the size of the windows in the jet-liners, which are closer to the camera, yet the windows are much smaller ?
The allusion to a whale in the name of the Airship is too cutsie to mention.

Your right that is not a photo but is a rendering of what they will look like, not a real craft . Prototype will be out next year they say :roll:

I could understand the windows being bigger. The blimp would travel at much lower altitudes thus not needing to be preasurised. A larger window would alow for better sight seeing which would ceartainly be one of the draws for the blimp.
I'd be interested in giving it a try. |
